个人简介:Dr. Yama A. Abassi is VP of Global Strategic Business Development and Growth at ACEA Biosciences. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry with Honors from State University of New York/Stony Brook in May of 1992 and a PhD degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology from University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999. Dr. Abassi joined the Burnham Institute for Cancer Research as an NIH PostDoctoral fellow in 1999 and performedhis postdoctoral work on delineating oncogene signaling pathways and its role in cancer biology. Dr. Abassi joined ACEA Biosciences in 2003 to develop a new technology for realtime cell assessment using microelectronics. Dr. Abassi’s efforts in this field has earned him over 30 publications and 10 patents and has led to the successful development and commercialization of the instruments globally. While at ACEA, he has led both scientific and commercial teams for the Global commercialization, distribution and support of ACEA’s proprietary technology. Dr. Abassi continues to pursue research interest in developing technologies and applications for predictive cell-based assays in the immune-oncology and safety/tox fields. 查看更多
