个人简介:Shadi joined KAUST in the beginning of 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Applied Physics and affiliated with the KAUST Solar Center. Shadi obtained his bachelor and master’s degrees in physics at the University of Campinas in Brazil, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. Afterwards, he was a Predoctoral researcher at IBM Research – Zurich from 2014 to 2018. He obtained his PhD degree in 2018 from ETH Zurich. He was then a Postdoctoral researcher at IBM Research – Zurich from 2019 to 2022. Shadi has received the ETH medal for outstanding PhD thesis and the Applied Physics award from the Swiss Physical Society. His research focuses on individual nanoscale systems (atoms, molecules) and surfaces, probed by surface science techniques.
